Steve’s Super Seniors

Starting from the 23rd October Steve will be running a Seniors coaching group.

The group will be focussing on both chipping and putting.

Each term will last 4 weeks, with 2 sessions per week to choose from.

The Super Senior classes will be on Wednesday mornings.

Putting classes will take place from 9 am – 9.45 am

Chipping classes will follow at 10 am – 10.45 am

The two options are:

Option class 1 – putter or chipping class - £50 per term £12.50 per session

Option class 2 – Both areas of the short game - £80 per Term £10 per session

Who remembers the days of hickory shafted clubs and plus fours? Some people say that golf was harder back then with a lot less help from our equipment, so we thought we'd take you on a trip down memory lane to see how far technology has come. Enjoy the ride.

We're certain that the first image above has brought back some fond memories for a lot of you - some of you may still have one in the bag!

Once upon a time, small clubhead sizes were the norm, which offered very little in the way of forgiveness off the tee with adjustability just another way of saying you needed to change up your swing.

Thankfully, technology continues to develop and today's drivers are unrecognisable from what's been and come before.
