Glen’s Jamega debut

Old Fold Professional Glen Portelli, who normally plays his golf within the PGA East Region, took his game to challenge the players on the Jamega Tour last week. The Jamega Tour operates around the South of England and is played over two rounds. It’s a popular tour for many pro’s from European, Senior and Challenge tour.

Glen was the only the PGA Professional in the field had a great tournament, finished -10 for two rounds and third alone. Showing the full-time golfers how it’s done.

The most beautiful shot in golf

If we were to ask you this question what would you say? We think some of you would say the ‘Tiger stinger’ but a good proportion would say the pitch shot that takes a couple of bounces before stopping to a halt. It looks sensational but how on earth do you play it?

The key to making this shot is simple – your wedges. Yes, technique is key and is certainly something we can talk you through during a lesson but without the correct equipment you stand no chance.
