Glen’s off to Final Stage...again!
Last Monday was the Regional Qualifier for The Open Championship. We had four representatives from Old Fold Manor which included Glen, Jack and Spencer at Sandy Lodge GC and James Jankowski (Putting Guru) at Alwoodly GC. All the players had a good chance of getting through to the Finals next week, but despite their best efforts, unfortunately, Jack, Spencer and James failed to get through.
Glen, however, managed to fire a 67 (-3) at Sandy lodge which left him in 4th place and safely through to the final stage. This will take place on Tuesday, 2 July at Princes Golf Club. Hopefully, Glen can go one better than last year.
Thank you to the members who came out to support the Old Fold players.

Ladies Academy going from strength to strength
Our Saturday ladies class are starting to show impressive skills around the golf course. The ladies have now been enrolled in the programme for just over a year and are now venturing out onto the golf course. If you see any of our academy ladies playing on the course, feel free to give them a wave, they are a friendly bunch.
