Vokey Wedge Fitting Day

On Wednesday, 17 April we have a Vokey Wedge Fitting Day coming up. You will be able to try many different lofts, bounces and grinds and find a set of wedges that are right for you.

Big Max golf bags

We have taken delivery of brand new waterproof stand bags from Big Max. These bags are completely waterproof and come with a three year warranty.

Waterproof bags would normally cost £199 but a Big Max stand bag is now only £129. We also have a non-waterproof lite stand bags for only £79.99. If you trade in your old bag, you will receive £10 OFF a brand new Big Max bag.

Titleist reward

To celebrate Titleist’s nine week dominance in being number one used equipment on the PGA Tour, we will be rewarding any customers who buy Titleist equipment.

Coaching news

Senior coaching classes

In April, Jack and Steve will be organising seniors group coaching classes. The classes will run every week for six weeks and will cost £50. Classes will run for an hour and there will be a debrief after the sessions with coffee provided.

Pushing the boundaries

Driver technology continues to be the hot topic of conversation in the golfing world, as brands search for ways of giving us more forgiveness, greater distance and better accuracy off the tee. So, which drivers are really pushing the boundaries this year?

Introducing G410 Plus from PING

The first thing you'll notice on the G410 Plus driver is its Moveable-Weight technology on the back perimeter of the club (seen above). This allows us to custom fit you into one of three positions - draw, neutral and fade - which will promote a left, neutral or right shot direction to cancel out your destructive miss. Spotlight: Mizuno ST190 drivers

With two driver models to choose from in Mizuno's range, there's one key question that needs to be answered:

Forgiveness or adjustability?

If you're wanting maximum forgiveness we'd start by looking at the ST190, which has a fixed backweight for increased stability. If you have a specific miss (a slice for most club golfers) then we would look at setting up the ST190G to counteract that bad shot.
