| [*END*] Welcome to this week's newsletter from your Professional Team here at OFMGC. We hope you're having a great week on and off the golf course. Enjoy this week's read! |
Change is coming
The American Golf brand of retail stores has been saved after entering administration, but 20 of its facilities will still close down. Europe’s largest golf retailer had collapsed and all 132 of its stores were in danger of closing but a rescue package has seen 112 of them stay open. Will all 112 remain open? We will wait and see.
Could American Golf have been hit hard by the resurgence of the Club PGA Professional? Have manufacturers started to support more green grass stores (Pro Shops) rather than stocking American Golf retail stores? More customers are wanting a higher level of service which can be found from PGA Professionals in Pro shops.
Always remember, we are here to help your golf, whether it’s a new set of clubs or a golf lesson, it’s in our best interest to improve your game!
If anyone has American golf vouchers at home that they would like to get rid, the Professional Shop will exchange them in store for you.
PS. We price match too!

When you step onto the tee with a driver in hand, there are two thoughts in most golfers' minds: "Hit it far, and hit it straight". Both of these were easier said than done, until Titleist released its new TS2 and TS3 drivers earlier this year... |
Both of these drivers are designed to bring more speed to your game, which results in greater distance. It's as simple as that. The Titleist TS2 is all about forgiveness. In fact, it has the highest MOI that Titleist has ever produced, which means it's more resistant to twisting at impact, for longer and straighter shots. However, if you have a consistent miss with your drives, the TS3 will be perfect for you as we can set it up to counter your destructive shot. With two models to choose from, it's more important than ever to come and see us for a custom fitting. What numbers will you be putting up on the Titleist board? |
