Lesson success stories
Our Pro’s have been busy helping our members play better golf. Glen has been helping Captain’s Day winners Sandra Huckle and Lisa Joseph. Steve has been helping Giles Pratt control his ball flight and Jack has been helping Joe Daly.
Joe had been drawn against Ken O’Keeffe in the Summer Singles. Ken has always been regarded as one of the best match-players in the club so it would not be an easy game for Joe. However, Joe came away victorious with a 3&2 win, leaving Ken in near tears as he “hasn’t lost a singles game for years!”. Well done Joe, bad luck Ken.

Where did Bol's drive finish?
On Captains Day one of our “elite” players hit a wayward tee shot on the 18th hole. Nick Bolsolver was photographed in the trees miles offline, but we want you to guess how far offline he was. Professional Glen used his distance laser to record how far Nick was from the straightest drive line. Let us know your guesses in yards by clicking here…. There is a prize for the winner. (PS, use the pictures below to help your guesses).

Well, between now and Friday 31st August, if you purchase an S5 CONNECT electric trolley from us, you can claim a FREE Motocaddy cart bag worth at least £159.99. What a deal! |

We're rewarding your loyalty If you buy any two FootJoy gloves between now and Sunday 5th August, we will give you a third FootJoy glove for FREE. The best part about this offer is that all three gloves don't need to be the same model, unless you want them to be, of course. So why not try a CabrettaSof leather glove for increased feel on hot days, a RainGrip glove for those wetter occasions, and a WeatherSof option for complete versatility? |

If you haven’t used a push trolley for a while then it’s definitely worth trying one in the not too distant future. In years gone by they were made of metal and were heavy to use, but that couldn’t be further from the truth with today’s lightweight options. |
Nice and easy This BIG MAX IQ+ 360 push trolley is a great option and tips the scales at just 6.3kg, which makes it effortlessly easy to push so you remain full of energy to the end of your round. As well as its lightweight frame, it boasts a 360-degree front wheel so you can steer it to any spot with ease (watch our video to see for yourself), plus a handbrake and a spacious console that has room for all of your valuables and accessories. If the white frame in this photo isn't to your liking, the IQ+ 360 is also available in black as well as black and red. |
