Scatesy’s purchases...

Colin Scates is one of the first members to gain a significant amount of distance from the new PING G400 driver. Colin gained 26 yards over his old driver and didn’t hesitate to make the move over to the new driver. Colin benefitted from being custom fitted by our PGA qualified team. We hope Colin has all the success and luck he deserves with his new found length.

PING Fitting Day

As we are so excited by the launch of the G400 range by PING, we have decided to dedicate an entire day so everyone can try it. Wednesday, 9 August is the day to put into your diaries, Glen will be on hand to personalise the PING G400 to suit your swing.

Please contact us here to book your appointment, the event will run from 3:00pm - 7:00pm.

Putter Fitting

Tony Pinn came to us with putting woes and fancied a change of putter. He saw Glen for a putter fitting and he found a putter that kept the face more balanced and gave Tony more control over the face of the putter. He came to us with a very strong toe heavy putter and was struggling to produce a smooth stroke. With the help of the new PING Sigma putter, he found not only his stroke was smoother, but was more consistent too.

Course Maintenance

The first part of the week our course was closed to allow our greens staff to complete the vital summer works to ensure our course is playing fantastically all year round. From Monday to Wednesday they have completed solid tining, scarifying, top dressing and overseeding to keep the greens healthy. Pictured is some of the arduous work taking place!
