Ladies Club Championship

Well done to all the ladies that took part in this year's Club Championship. Last Sunday saw the Semi-final and Final take place. The Semi-finals saw Diane Merrill take on Elyane Stuart and Ann-Marie Magee take on Anne Clark. Bad luck to Anne and Elyane on getting knocked out in the Semis. The Final was between Ann-Marie vs. Diane Ann-Marie with Diane coming away victorious with an excellent performance throughout the entire day. Well done Ann-Marie.

 

Captain's Medal

Below are the results of the Captain's Medal:

First place - Alex Pryor (77 - 8 = 69), second place - Nigel Murchison (96 - 26 = 70) and in third place - Vic Kenny (85 - 14 = 71).

Well done to Alex Pryor who has won a PING 4series bag donated by the Captain for winning the medal!

Hertfordshire Colts Championship

On Saturday, 24 June the club was very honoured to host the 2017 Hertfordshire Colts Championship. The event which is played over 36 holes consists of the best under 25 year olds in Hertfordshire. The club received great feedback from Hertfordshire Golf Union as the course was beautifully presented, something everyone at Old Fold Manor can be proud of. The winner was Jack Slater with a magnificent score of -3 for the day. The scoring was great considering the toughness of the course on the day so well done to all that played and we'll see some of you back for the Faldo Series in just over a week and the Men's County Championships next month.

   

 

Captain/Pro Challenge

Fancy yourself as a good matchplayer, got a good partner, or just fancy having a game with the Captain and one of us? We are now running Captain/Pro matches throughout the summer. We have a list with loads of dates up in the pro shop so make sure you don't miss out. The cost is £20 per player with that money going to a prize fund if you win for the Final in September, or the money going to the Captain's Charity if you lose. We'll see you on the first tee...
