Invitation Day
On Saturday we had our annual Invitation Day with a fantastic turnout of 44 teams. The weather was tough with wind and showers throughout the day, however this didn't affect the scoring too badly. The winning score was 42 points, won on countback by member Spencer Davis and his guest Chris.
Another Solid Round For Glen
Co-Head Professional Glen Portelli continued his consistent start to the PGA Season with a tied second finish at Muswell Hill Pro-Am. Glen had a good start with five birdies in the first 11 holes before finishing steadily and signing for a 68 (-3). The professional staff has loads of Pro-Ams coming up so if you would like to play with them please let us know here. A list of all Pro-Ams will be going up in the clubhouse soon.
Men's Stableford Result
First place - Paul Nancarrow ( £30 ), second place - Andy Bardsley ( £25 ), third place - Paul Clements ( £20 ), fourth place - Elliot Sherrington ( £15 ) and in fifth place - Harry Hobley ( £10 ).
Two's sweep - Only one two was recorded on Sunday and Vic Kenny is a Two's Champion picking up a two on the 10th hole. Well done Vic, there are five balls of your choice waiting for you in the professional shop.
Junior Classes
Have you got kids who want to learn golf? Want to learn a new sport? Then the Old Fold Manor Junior sessions could be for them. We will be running a weekly junior session on Sundays from 2:00pm - 3:00pm at £8 per session. The session is fun and active for all ages and abilities and are a fantastic way for the juniors to make new friends and learn a new sport. Clubs will be provided for all ages and heights.

Jack Visits Rexton
On Wednesday Jack visited Rexton to teach young children golf. Jack had a great attendance with over 30 children learning how to putt and chip. The children really enjoyed their morning coaching and Jack will return soon.
Ladies Classes
The ladies classes have been well received and are growing each week with ladies improving their golf. We would like to encourage our ladies to bring female family or friends along for a special session on Saturday, 27 May from 10:00am - 11:00am.
