Welcome to this week's newsletter from the Old Fold Manor Professional Shop. This week has been incredibly busy with the arrival of the new Callaway Epic driver. Customers have taken full advantage of our Callaway Custom Fitting equipment to ensure they are getting the correct golf club fitted for them. Which in return will lead to more distance and lower scores.

Bardsley And Huckle Hitting The Long Ball

This week we had Ian Huckle and Andy Bardsley down to try the new Callaway Epic driver and the results are amazing. Andy gained 20 yards on his previous Callaway XR driver and Ian gained 23 yards more on his PING G30 driver.

Hall Salver

First place - Dennis Pyatt (£25), second place - Paul Brosnan (£20), third place - Monaj Shah (£15), fourth place - Jeff Linskey (£10) and in fifth place - Chris White (£5).

Medal

First place - Nick Bolsover (£15), second place - Andy Bardsley (£10) and in third place - Clive Prior (£5).

Well done to all competitors, all the winning will be in the pro shop.

Twos

Congratulations to Chris Jones in the Hall Salver Ball Sweep receiving seven balls for his two on 14 and a congratulations to Nick Bolsover who recorded a two on 10 in the Medal and will receive 11 balls. Remember you've got to be in the twos to have a chance of winning.

 

Hadley Wood Pro-Am

Jack is looking for two members who would like to play in the Pro-Am at Hadley Wood Golf Club on Friday, 26 May. The entry fee is £100 with coffee, bacon rolls on arrival and a lunch after golf. If you would like to play, contact the professional shop on 0208 440 7488.

   

John O'Gaunt Pro-Am

Glen is looking for a team of three players for the annual John O'Gaunt Pro-Am taking place on Monday, 22 May. The cost is £90 per player which includes coffee, bacon rolls on arrival and a lunch with prizes after golf. If you would like to play contact the professional shop on 0208 440 7488.

We will be putting a notice up on the professional board with all our upcoming Pro-Ams throughout the year.

 

Sharp Studio

The Golf Studio is now starting to look superb, all the custom fitting equipment is now starting to look great and with plenty of customers now starting to see the benefits.
