Paul Shirley Charity Day
On Good Friday, Paul Shirley held his Charity Day raising money for Macmillan and Brain Cancer Trust, for which the day raised £10,000. The day was tremendously well supported by members and guest alike with a whopping 37 teams out on the course for a shotgun start. The day was well enjoyed by all that attended, with the golf course being immaculate, the food being great and the day running smoothly from start to finish.
Easter Knockout Qualifier
On Saturday, 15 April we held the Easter Knockout Qualifier. With the top 32 to be drawn into a knockout match play competition. Here are the winners from the competition…
First place - David Fox - Nett 66 (£30), second place - Graham Beer - Nett 68 (£25), third place - Matthew Schofield - Nett 69 (£20), fourth place - Manoj Shah - Nett 69 (£15), fifth place - Mark Bretton - Nett 70 (£10) and in sixth place - Andy Bardsley - Nett 70 (£5).
Winning shop accounts have been credited, well done. Two's sweep winners - S. Ganapathy, A. Bardsley, E. Fergusen and S. Torbe (Each player receives four balls each).
Bank Holiday Monday Results
First place - Paul Clements - 41 points (£25), second place - Mitchell Ross - 38 points (£20), third place - Andrew Leggatt - 36 points (£15), fourth place - Joye Shah - 36 points (£10) and in fifth place - Manoj Shah - 36 points (£5).

Glen Finishes Third In The Thomson Tour Championship
Head Professional Glen Portelli signed off the winter season with a solid performance in the Thomson Tour Championship. Rounds of 70 and 70 (-2 gross) were good enough to finish third. Our team of professionals now have a two week period before the next run of events, so you may see them practicing getting ready for the summer months.

Ladies Coaching
Our ladies' classes are back! We have selected a date for our ladies coaching classes which will take place on Saturday, 29 April from 11:00am - 12:00pm. Classes will cost £10 per person and will cover all aspects of golf; from putting all the way to the full swing.
